We are Richard and Beatrice Warren. We are both pensioners, born 1942. Dick was a professor of engineering materials (interests: hard materials, high temperature materials, ceramics, composites and stereology). Beatrice was a professor of the English language (interest: semantic aspects of words). We are keen gardeners and Dick paints in oils. We have one daughter Anna Thordén, born 1969 and three granddaughters, Amanda, Alva and Saga .

I (Richard) regret to report that Beatrice passed away 24.07.2024 tormented by Parkinsons and the results of a stroke in 2020.
